In VERSCHLINGERIN erzählen Katharina Böhl, Hanne Scharnhorst (geb. Böhl) und Alba Scharnhorst als Mütter und Töchter über drei Frauen-Generationen. Von drei sich eng miteinander verschlingenden Geschichten, drei Symptomatiken, die durch den Magen gehen. Von drei Köpfen und drei Vorstellungen davon, wie ein Mädchen, eine Frau, eine Großmutter, eine Mutter oder eine Tochter sein soll, darf und doch niemals werden will.
In einem märchenhaft-assoziativen und autobiografischen Film begegnen sie ihren Vorstellungen voneinander, erzählen als Figurenspielerin und Performerin über Haare, mit Haaren, von Haaren und verhandeln in surrealen und erinnerungs-behafteten Räumen die Widersprüchlichkeiten von Mutter-Tochter-Beziehungen und von dem schützenden Fell, das sich um unseren Körper legt.

In a fairy-tale associative and autobiographical film, they encounter their ideas of each other, narrate as a character player and performer about hair, with hair, of hair, and negotiate in surreal spaces the contradictions of mother-daughter relationships and of the protective fur that wraps itself around our bodies.
